The Boards of Excellence in Prevention is an initiative developed in partnership with PreventionFIRST! and You Thrive Training & Consulting, LLC. and funded by the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health.

This initiative strengthens prevention expertise and capacity among staff of Ohio’s county behavioral health boards. Through participation in a statewide learning community, board staff will have opportunities to connect with peers, share knowledge and evidence-based practices, and subject-matter expertise needed to advance effective behavioral health prevention efforts in their communities.

By investing in the knowledge, skills, and collaboration of local prevention professionals, the Boards of Excellence in Prevention initiative aims to strengthen local prevention systems and support healthier, more resilient communities across Ohio.
