Ohio Campus Community Partnership

The Ohio Campus Community Partnership (OCCP) supports Ohio colleges and universities in building and sustaining partnerships that promote student wellness and behavioral health. OCCP and its campus-community partnerships are creating healthier, more resilient college communities across Ohio — where wellness, connection, and behavioral health are a shared priority. The initiative is funded by OhioMHAS and administered by PreventionFIRST!

Ongoing Campus Support

In addition to funding, OCCP offers opportunities for engagement. The initiative provides grant opportunities, peer education training, and collaborative events focused on student wellness and behavioral health to Ohio higher education institutions including: public, independent, community colleges, and regional campuses.

Statewide Impact

Since its launch, OCCP has funded over 35 higher education institutions across Ohio. In Fiscal Year 2026, the initiative will expand to include an advisory team of previously funded campuses with strong, sustainable behavioral health programs who will mentor and support new grantees.
