Providing information is a key prevention strategy. Successful marketing contributes to and supports effective prevention. Creating flyers and other promotional materials to announce events, trainings, and other health related activities are often part of the job for prevention professionals. Good copywriting and good design should work in harmony to inspire and inform a reader as to what is important and what action should be taken. This session provides ideas on how to write compelling copy and incorporate basic design skills to encourage engagement and action from your target audience.
