Jayla is a Program Coordinator at PreventionFIRST! where she helps grow awareness and build substance use prevention skills in schools and faith communities. She supports Ohio Coaching and Mentoring Network (OCAM) coaches and maintains the training calendar. Jayla is passionate about strengthening prevention efforts in minority communities and making sure resources reach those who need them most. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, a certificate in Minority Health, and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in health education and health promotion from the University of Cincinnati. She is currently working toward certification as an Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist.
