A round of applause to communities that have completed the Call to Action Community Forums offered by PreventionFIRST! To date, Norwood, Wyoming, Lockland and Mt.Washington have hosted a forum and put out calls to action to reduce prescription drug abuse out to individual members in their community. Additionally, a prescription drug abuse prevention round table was held last July with U.S. Senator Rob Portman.

The next community forum will be held in Walnut Hills on Wednesday, June 22. PreventionFIRST! will also be working with Madisonville, Mt. Healthy, Springdale, Deer Park, and Harrison community members on their events as well. By next Spring, PreventionFIRST! aims to host a total of 12 "Call to Action Community Forums" in communities throughout Hamilton County. Groups can apply for up to $500 to host and execute a forum. The application can be accessed through this link: http://www.prevention-first.org/media/Community Forum Invite-2016-2017 FINAL.pdf
