"#YourVoiceYourChoice" Social Media Campaign

This is a two week social media campaign where students at local high schools hear substance abuse prevention messages on their morning announcements and have the opportunity to tweet or post the message to Twitter and/or Facebook, with a chance to win prizes.  Each day a random student is selected to win a prize/s. #YourVoiceYourChoice is usually held in October each year in correlation to Red Ribbon Week, but it can also be done anytime throughout the year.  Whatever works best with your school.

"Too Smart to Start" Media Campaign

This initiative helps build partnerships between parents
and children to combat underage drinking among youth 9- to 13-year-olds
(tweens). The goal of this initiative is to decrease the risk of childhood use by
increasing the knowledge and skills of tweens and their parents & caregivers so they can
positively address the issue.

"3 out of 4" Media Campaign

 This media campaign is aimed at changing the percentions of use and harm of underage drinking among youth between the ages of 12 and 17. It is called "I am 3 out of 4" and it was designed by students for PreventonFIRST!. This campaign shows that more than 3/4 of Greater Cincinnati's youth choose not to drink alcohol on a regular basis.

"Start Talking"

Governor John R. Kasich and First Lady Karen W. Kasich have launched Start Talking!, a new initiative to give parents, guardians, educators and community leaders the tools to start the conversation with Ohio’s youth about the importance of living healthy, drug-free lives.
